A tree planting took place in early December 2009. The poster below gives a background to the activity and the photos show it really took place. Several types of tree were planted at various locations under the guidance of Shropshire Council rangers. |

Tree O’Clock in Llanymynech Join us on Saturday 5 December 2009 to take part in the BBC Tree O’Clock Campaign to set a Guinness World Record for the most trees planted in 1 hour at more than one place. We’ll be planting a number of trees in the Heritage Area. for more details see http://www.bbc.co.uk/breathingplaces/treeoclock/ Meet at the Stables in the Heritage Area at 10.45am, ready to start planting at 11.00.
