A tree planting took place in early December 2009. The poster below gives a background to the activity and the photos show it really took place. Several types of tree were planted at various locations under the guidance of Shropshire Council rangers.

Tree O’Clock in Llanymynech

Join us on Saturday 5 December 2009 to take part in the BBC Tree O’Clock Campaign to set a Guinness World Record for the most trees planted in 1 hour at more than one place.

We’ll be planting a number of trees in the Heritage Area.

Meet at the Stables in the Heritage Area at 10.45am, ready to start planting at 11.00.

We’ll provide tools, but you can bring your own if you wish. Do wear suitable clothing and footwear
